The Symbiosis Institute of International Business was founded in 1992 as Symbiosis Institute of Foreign Trade (SIFT). As time elapsed and the global business world expanded tremendously, the founders felt the need to transform the institute from one of foreign trade to an all encompassing ‘international business’ and hence SIFT metamorphosed into Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB). It was not only the name of the institute that underwent a change as SIIB moved to a brand new campus equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure. Such changes were welcomed and appreciated by one and all and in the following years. SIIB won much coveted accreditations making it one of the preferred destinations for MBA in Pune that has presently grown to become one of the top MBA schools in the country.
Today SIIB stands as one of the premier business schools in the country. Through all these years it has provided students not only a strong academic foundation but also ensured an overall personality development. The institute can boast of 100% placements since its inception in leading companies around the country and also around the globe. For us here at SIIB the mission is to turn out well-balanced, socially conscious professionals for the corporate world.

All the activities of the club are solely managed by the students and they include such fun activities like quizzes, debates, discussions, polls, presentations, ‘Brand’ auctions which go hand in hand with the lectures delivered by renowned speakers in field. Such an environment ensures that marketing lives up to its image of the most ‘happening and creative’ field.
